24/7 Emergency Tree Work/Storm Damage
Certified in emergency operations, we can assist should the unforeseen happen. Available 24/7, we can attend the site, conduct a risk assessment and carry out work to remove any hazards and make the area safe.
Tree Removal/Dismantling
All our surgeons are experienced and qualified in the various techniques used to remove trees in the most challenging situations. If a tree is deemed unsafe to climb, we will utilise a Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) to aid in the dismantling of the tree. The use of a MEWP depends on the surrounding area and access.
Tree Pollarding
This technique is the removal of the crown in its entirety, including all branches. This is best done at an early stage in growth to aid in the height and growth of the tree.
Crown Reduction
This technique is used to reduce the overall size of the canopy. This may be done when a tree has become damaged or diseased. It may also be done if it has outgrown its surroundings.
Crown Lifting
This technique is used to raise the canopy from ground level. This can be done to create more ground space below the tree, maybe for parking space. It also offers more air and light to circulate below to benefit lower lying flowers and shrubs.
Crown Thinning/Dead-Wooding
This technique is used to remove part the internal canopy to allow more air and light to pass through the tree. Thinning involves the removal of dead wood and crossing branches etc. This will not reduce the overall size of the canopy. It is recommended that no more than 30% of a trees canopy is removed at any one time.
Stump Grinding
This is an effective method to remove unwanted stumps. Stumps are usually removed if they pose a safety concern or if you wish to conduct landscaping in your garden. We can access the most difficult stumps due to the manoeuvrability and capability of their stump grinder. Check out our photo gallery for previous work done.

Hedge Maintenance & Removal
